Questions? Answered.
Where do we meet?
Busta Shinjuku (under the main signboard). Right outside the JR Shinjuku Station South Exit, or turn left immediately after the Koshu-kaido Exit. Look for your guide holding a NINJA GO TOURS sign.
Open in Google MapsWhen does it start?
Weekdays, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (every 30 minutes). The tour takes about 60 minutes.
How much does it cost?
1 adult: ¥8,000 per adult · 2 adults: ¥4,000 per adult · 3 adults: ¥2,800 per adult · 4+ adults: ¥2,500 per adult. Kids 12 and under join free with an adult, as many as you bring.
How do I book?
Tap “Check availability”, then pick a date and time and complete your booking online. A confirmation email follows. Reserve by 12:00 PM the day before.
How much is the hanko, and when do I get it?
The tour fee does not include the hanko. You pay directly at the shop (credit cards accepted): from about 3,300 JPY for a plastic seal and 10,000 JPY for premium materials, plus an express finishing fee (from 550 JPY). A hanko takes at least 60 minutes to make, so you pick up the finished seal yourself after the tour.
Do I need to buy anything?
Only the hanko itself, paid at the shop. Other shopping and café drinks are optional and not included.
Can I bring my kids?
Children 12 and under are free and very welcome (must be accompanied by a guardian). If a child wants their own hanko, the shop fee applies.
What if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine, using covered streets and arcades where we can. If we cancel for stormy weather, you get a full refund.
