When does it start?

11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (every 30 minutes). The tour takes about 60 minutes.

How much does it cost?

1 adult: ¥8,000 per adult · 2 adults: ¥4,000 per adult · 3 adults: ¥2,800 per adult · 4+ adults: ¥2,500 per adult. Kids 12 and under join free with an adult, as many as you bring.

How do I book?

Tap “Check availability”, then pick a date and time and complete your booking online. A confirmation email follows. Reserve by 12:00 PM the day before.

How does the snack auction work?

Vendors pile up snacks and call out a price; raise your hand and pay 1,000 JPY in cash to take the pile home. It is optional and not included in the tour.

Are food and drinks included?

Food and drinks are not included. This is an orientation walk, so you’ll know where to eat afterwards.

Can I bring my kids?

Families can join with peace of mind (children must be accompanied by a guardian). We use flat, stroller-friendly routes and avoid overly crowded spots.

What if it rains?

The tour runs rain or shine, using the covered areas under the tracks. If we cancel for stormy weather, you get a full refund.

Is there anything to know about late start times?

The last start time is 5:00 PM. Depending on your start time, the shrine’s closing hours (5:30 PM in summer, 4:30 PM in winter) or shop hours may mean you only see Toshogu from outside or cannot join the street auction.
